Since I'm working on my new film, and needed a good audio recorder. Garageband is really good at recording audio. It has two effects I really like, reverb and echo which can really add a lot of cool stuff to your voice acting.
We have this one scene where Mozart is thinking to himself. If you notice in movies and tv shows, whenever somone is thinking to themselves, you hear this strange sort of echo. That is what reverb does. And it sounds quite cool! Just pointing it out to everyone. Yeah, I use Audacity and it works beautifully. You can control the echo. You control the time delay (how long before the echo) and the decay factor (the intensity of the echo). And you can do lots of other cool stuff too. LGM -------------------- If we could only go into bullet-time. Then we would be a good soccer team.

GarageBand ROCKS for making custom soundtracks, too. Willie trombone (one of my other friends) has a guitar, and he's really good. He made me some songs for my movie GreenZone, and they rock! Maybe I can show them off sometime... anyway, it's awesome. I have a keyboard, and when I get my G5 (okay, maybe not... quite pricey, yes?
 ) I'm going to get midi cables and compose music for my movies. Just THINK how useful that would be! The music would fit PERFECTLY, and no one could sue you for ripping them off! Also, the High Adventure Theater brickfilms.com contest is coming up (in August) and they're going to make a DVD to sell, thus you can't use anything but royalty free music. GarageBand is AWESOME! Never mind, I just got it and having fun. I used it a little bit for my Franklin movie. Can you download new loops?
